When we are trying to prioritize our health AND faith, it can be a challenge. How do we start working out or exercising? Every time I try to make my workout happen; something comes up. Lifting weights on a normal schedule doesn't just happen. There are many demands on our time and energy as stay at home moms. Most of the time we are just missing a few pieces of the puzzle to start or get back to prioritizing our health again.

Sometimes we are also overwhelmed by all the emotional needs of our beautiful blessings. There is an unspoken expectation of parenting that may lead some of us to believe we need to entertain and play with our kids all day long. If you're anything like me, you have things to do and your own personal goals you'd like to achieve! In this episode, I share how I get intentional about play time with my 5-year-old so that she feels loved and we connect BUT I still accomplish my own daily tasks.
Also, I love to play with 5-year-old, and I encourage her to independent play too!
