This upcoming labor with my third baby is inevitable. Every pregnancy, labor, and birth is different but I have an idea of what is to come. This isn't for the faint of faith. Micronutrients are essential vitamins and minerals that our bodies require in small amounts to function properly. The vitamins included are A, B, C, D, E, and K, as well as minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and iodine.
Each micronutrient matters and they are unique in their role in our overall health from supporting our immune system to bone health and beyond.
The goal is to aim for a balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods in order to get the micronutrients we need.

Carbs, Fats, and Protein. These are the big players, called MACROS or Macronutrients and they make up most of what we eat on a daily basis.
